Who I am

A CG Artist/Supervisor with more than 25 years of experience in film and commercials.

YOUR PHOTO

I’m Paul Dreisen, VFX/CG Supervisor and 3D generalist based near Düsseldorf, Germany, with over 25 years of experience across commercials, automotive, advertising, and film.

I hold a degree as a Diplom Digital Artist with a specialization in 3D animation. Since 2008, I’ve been Head of VFX / VFX Supervisor at Parasol Island in Düsseldorf — leading the 3D team, supervising shoots on set, and developing the pipelines and workflows behind launch-critical campaigns. I’ve also taught on-set supervision at the ifs internationale filmschule Köln.

“I’ve worked in almost every position in this business. Of all of it, doing something new is what I enjoy most — stay hungry, stay fresh.”

My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including first place at the Animago Award and a VDW-Award nomination. Today I work directly with studios, brands, and agencies as a collaborator — offering expert-level skills, a structured process, and reliability.

Got a project in mind?

Whether you need a Supervisor to steer a complex project, a long-term partner to oversee production, or experienced leadership to help your in-house team align and smash a tight deadline — I’d love to hear about it.
